Basic Digitizing

Thomas is a Master Embroidery Designer and the author of the book "Digitizing 101". This day and a half class will focus on the basics of digitizing providing the student the knowledge necessary to begin digitizing quality designs. The concepts taught are from the book "Digitizing 101".

Intermediate Digitizing

The "Intermediate Digitizing" class is conducted by Thomas L. Moore, Jr, of Strawberry Stitch Co. and his staff. Thomas is a Master Embroidery Designer and the author of the book "Digitizing 101". This day and a half class will focus on creating production efficient designs. Digitizing techniques used to create letters, embroidery on terry cloth, polar fleece and finished caps will be covered .

Production problems can arise due to poorly constructed designs. This class will cover the major sources of problems caused by designs, and provide clear explanations on how to make the needed corrections. Several designs will be evaluated during the class, explaining what changes to make when resizing the design or changing the target fabric.This class spells out solutions to many production issues and provides specifics on how to properly edit for different situations.
